Hi! I have been using Local Business Directory for a few months now and I can say that for Vancouver Islanders, it is a real find. Previously, I had to search for the local services I needed through Google or Yelp, but to be honest, it did not always give good results. Especially when it came to small businesses or places that are not very popular. When I first heard about VILocal, I thought it was another site, but I was wrong. What really catches my attention about this service is its focus on the local community. VILocal is aimed specifically at businesses and services that operate on Vancouver Island, and this gives certain advantages. Firstly, all the data about businesses on the platform is up-to-date, because they are local and do not depend on global network algorithms. Secondly, the platform itself is quite convenient for searching: you can filter businesses by categories, such as restaurants, repair services, stores with local goods, and so on. For example, I quickly found a local baker who makes a ton of delicious gluten-free items—and trust me, that's not easy to find on other platforms.

It’s interesting that VILocal is so supportive of local businesses and residents. It’s especially important that the platform is region-specific and helps find not only popular businesses, but also small local ones that might not otherwise be featured on larger platforms. Supporting these businesses is certainly important, especially in areas like Vancouver Island, where people often prefer to reach out to local entrepreneurs.
