This YouTube video is one of my most important publications. It highlights a most peculiar story of how money, religion, politics, war and industry have influenced how we practice medicine and how we think. We discuss how deeply ingrained in society some of these concepts are. So deep that they essentially control the way we think. Take for example the concept that "grains are heart healthy" or "vegetable oil is better than saturated fat" when really they are not and the opposite is true.
